As the preparations for Elections are underway, two alliances so far have been formed.
1.TEAM KUBWA
2. TEAM BABALAO
Team Kubwa was formed by a number of University politicians. It's made up of 8 aspirants who in turn will serve the comrades once voted in.

They'll be taking on TEAM BABALAO which has it's own formed alliance.
Every election season in Technical University of Mombasa brings about a new alliance, a new catch name (Remember the Revolutional Alliance R-8?).
The names (BABALAO & TEAM KUBWA) behind the alliances remain the same and the ethnic loyalties the aspirants have promised to deliver to the Alliances inform of votes don't change.
In Technical University of Mombasa's political elite, it would seem, the masses are a commodity to be delivered along ethnic lines, branded and sold.

Mr. Sululu the son of the charcoal sekker who's the current Academic secretary also a flag bearer of TEAM KUBWA control Mulembe/Luhya votes and he has promised to share his votes with George (Aspirant Secretary General) and Clara (Aspirant D. President) who will deliver a divided votes from the Luo community to the Alliance.

On other hand, Eng. Michael Kamau who's the aspirant in the Academics Secretary docket under TEAM KUBWA will deliver the Kikuyu's votes to the Alliance.

This means that TEAM KUBWA has full support from the Luhya and Kikuyu Communities. They'll have a share from the Luo community since George and Clara are on board.

On the other side, TEAM BABALAO is also prepared and ready for the dirty game. They have an alliance but not fully launched. The Alliance is driven by Mr. Jacklinous Otiato who's the current sports and entertainment secretary and a Presidential aspirant too.

The alliance has partial support from the Luo community as their votes are divided. They have Dr. Slate from the Kalenjin Community on board. This is a major boost and a smiling reason to the BABALAO supporters as the Kalenjins are 99.5% loyal to Dr. Slate.

This may seem as an oversimplification. Breaking dowm the University into ethnic groups, doing mathematics appears cynical and condescending. But it's true that TUM votes according to issues and not simply along tribal lines, one may interject.
Unfortunately, in TUM evidence suggests voting ethnic lines remains the way the game is played.

Actually failure begins from the planning and power can't be acquired forcefully
