TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY OF MOMBASA MESS SAGA

It's just a week after the Saucy Restaurant was opened in the Technical University of Mombasa.
This happened just after the University administration in conjunction with Accommodation Secretary privatised the mess to a restaurant.

Students have been complaining about the privatisation of the mess to the restaurant. According to the views of the students, the price at the Restaurant is higher than never before. This means that the needy student will be found it hard to servive in the Institution.

Speaking with one of the student, he said that previously he used to spend less than KSh.30 for dinner but at the moment the price has been raised and therefore he has  to spend more than ksh 70 for the dinner.

This has seen some of the students planning to riote for their better life at the campus.

We'll update you on what's going on as far as the MESS SAGA Is concerned.

  1. Infact mess is made for comrades, moreso it's funded by the government
I don't see how this can happen
Will have to write a letter to the parliament and the ministry of education for this matter because it is a serious case

  6. Well, I think we have been deprived of what belongs to as, not only by ownership but also by law,my view of this act,a miasma indeed,is that the prices of foodstuffs be lowered to comrade's purchasing power or no cost at all...

  7. When I was a first year, I used to enjoy meals at the mess with as little amount as 20 bob. 20 bob for breakfast, 20 bob for lunch and 20 bob for dinner. Nowadays, it always saddens me when I realize that the less unfortunate students have got nowhere to seek refuge. It us comrades who can bring the mess back.
    #Restore the mess!
